My husband is very supportive of my couponing and sometimes accompanies me on specific couponing trips. The only thing we really disagree on is the checkout process. He wants me to always choose the shortest checkout lane. Of course that makes sense, but not necessarily when couponing. I pick my cashier carefully.
I try very hard to follow all the specifics of each coupon in terms of product, size and expiration date. Even when you buy exactly the right items sometimes your coupons will still make the register beep which means your fate is now in the cashier's hands.
At that point things can go very badly if you haven't chosen your cashier wisely.
What happens when you pick the wrong cashier? We'll cover that tomorrow.
